As you may remember, we had originally published the article on Lexi Cooper (@lexicooperxo), accusing Mr. Wade of sexual harassment allegedly occurring November 2015 through April 2016 over Snapchat. Yesterday, in an unprecedented event, Ms. Cooper publicly confessed and apologized via Twitter. (As Lexi Cooper’s Twitter account seems to have been deactivated as of 10/04/18, I have also provided a screen recording of the actual post below.)
In a six-Tweet long post she opens up and states that she created these accusations and continued to build on these lies as she went along, simply to fit in with the crowd. (Entire Tweet below). In the Tweet, Ms. Cooper states that she was sent the Snapchats, and should have been more careful with usernames. While it is unclear whether or not she, herself, actually spoke to the fake account which was pretending to be Mr. Wade, or if she was sent these screenshots from someone else, remains a mystery. It is well known that Lua James/Theresa Cotter was the main person backing Lexi Cooper’s crusade, and had even made a video of said screenshots of the Snapchats, so this would definitely bring her involvement into question again. She also states that she exaggerated regarding Mr. Wade “rubbing her back” at NJCon back in September of 2015, while his mother was sitting next to him, his girlfriend and business manager were to his left, Connie Stepmitz (Lady In Red) was behind him, Betty Black (his Creation Handler) to his right and about 300 fans in line and behind Lexi herself.
Considering all of the “hacked accounts” in this 3+ year nightmare, I can’t help but wonder if this apology is, in fact, from Lexi herself. However, if it is Lexi actually apologizing, I would like to say that while I don’t agree in the least with what you have done to Mr. Wade over the past almost three years, I do realize that it must have been very difficult for you to publicly apologize the way you have, and I would like to thank you for finally telling the truth. I’m sure the damage he has had to his life regarding this incident was more than anyone could realize, and I sincerely hope that someday either Mr. Wade or someone from his team will see either this post or Lexi’s Tweet, so that they can see that the truth is finally coming out, and healing can begin.
UPDATE: As of 10/04/18, Lexi Cooper (@lexicooperxo) has deactivated her Twitter account after being accused of being a sock account run by none other than Mr. Wade himself. It seems she has been bullied into silence by those listed on this site. At first by Janelle Davis @GhostofBobby who alleged that Lexi’s account was a sock account, run by Mr. Wade; then later today on (10/04/18), a Tweet was posted by none other than Emily Cleghorn @exorcisingemily, stating she had spoken to Lexi, can affirm that the account was indeed Lexi’s, but that Lexi made up the whole story, thinking it would make this site go away, claiming this “doxxing” site is to try to scare the into silence. On the contrary, this site is up as an ongoing account of everything this fandom has put Mr. Wade through over the past 3+ years now, as an effort to warn people who to be careful of in this fandom. The people involved in this site don’t seem to see the irony in their accusations, as they had an ongoing account from their side to “warn” people of Mr. Wade’s actions, listed on Storify.com for over two years, including Tweets and private information. Storify has since gone out of business which is the only reason that account is no longer available.
I have attached the screenshots from Lexi’s Tweets last night (10/03/18), when she started to feel pressure from outside sources. I find it ironic that she is publicly asking for forgiveness, but is not on Mr. Wade’s “side”, a side that she herself created with all of her false accusations.
